The Story
A Founder's Purpose
With more than 25 years of experience in community development, education, counseling, and housing advocacy, Starr Felix has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families navigate important decisions with greater knowledge, confidence, and support.
Throughout her professional journey, Starr recognized a recurring challenge: people often faced some of life's most important housing and financial decisions without access to the education, guidance, and coordinated support needed to move forward.
Whether navigating homeownership, divorce, probate, inheritance, relocation, aging, or other major life transitions, individuals and families often faced complex decisions that required coordination between multiple areas of expertise—without a single framework connecting those decisions.
Drawing on her academic foundation in Sociology with a concentration in Family and the Life Course, along with a Master's degree in Professional Counseling, Starr developed a deeper understanding of how life events influence housing decisions, financial choices, and long-term stability.
These disciplines continue to shape the thoughtful, education-first approach that defines her work today.
A Personal Connection to Homeownership
Starr's connection to real estate began early when she purchased her first new construction home at age 21. That experience provided firsthand insight into the significance of homeownership—not only as a financial decision, but as a foundation for personal growth, stability, and future opportunities.
Over time, her real estate experience expanded beyond personal homeownership. As a real estate investor and property owner, Starr gained firsthand knowledge of rental property ownership, investment strategy, long-term planning, and the responsibilities that come with building wealth through real estate.
These experiences shaped her belief that real estate decisions should be approached strategically and viewed within the broader context of a person's financial goals, family circumstances, and long-term plans.
Creating the FELIX Trio Framework
As the Founder of the FELIX Trio Framework, Starr created an integrated advisory model that connects education, real estate, and protection into one coordinated approach.
